Haru Granville Island
A Little Bit of Everything Handmade
Haru doesn't pick a lane, and that's the charm of it.
Enter the shop and you'll see shelves stacked with small-batch soaps, bath oils, and jars of salts and sea salt scrubs, all lined up like an apothecary, along with soy candles poured into vintage-style tins, each scent labeled like a menu item: Maraschino Cherry, Mango Tango, Peppermint Hot Cocoa, Frosted Cranberry.
The shop offers a different kind of browsing altogether: tables of locally designed Granville Island tees, folded and stacked in island-print blues and greens, racks of handmade bags and textiles, and cases of locally made jewelry catching the light near the register.
Toss in a wall of plush toys for the kids, and Haru covers pretty much every kind of "just one more thing" a visitor could want.
It's less a single shop and more a small collection of local makers under one roof.
