River City Marine has earned its stripes as Vancouver's #1 boat dealer home turf for two heavyweight brands, Grady-White® and Thunder Jet®, where they hold the title of the brand's largest dealer, backed by full Mercury and Yamaha motor sales and repair.

The story starts small: in 1999, John and Sherrill Simpson bought their first Malibu boat in Kamloops, BC, and began selling boats out of their home. What started as a side hustle grew, over the next 24 years, into a full-scale dealership, eventually relocating to Abbotsford, BC, a move that opened the door into the aluminum boat market.

Today, that same hands-on spirit powers everything they do, new and used boat sales, financing, a fully stocked parts department, expert service, custom boat builds, and the ongoing maintenance that keeps customers coming back season after season.
